Many software companies focus on a feature & functionality and price. A recent conversation highlighted throughout the discovery process that a client had a less than optimal experience with a previous SaaS provider. She was much more interested in the quality of the implementation experience - and that quality was paramount in her buyer journey.
It is a customer’s natural tendency to buy based on emotion - and then to justify their decision with left-brain logic. Yet technical selling often overemphasizes features first.
Through testing and innovation, we emphasize engaging the customer’s right side in order to connect with them in a way that causes them to desire your solution. Much to be said for sales teams to hone their listening skills in order to establish a win/win relationship that drives sales momentum.
